Service of our neighbors is an essential part of Christian discipleship. Our parish and campus ministry have lots of ways for you to give of your time and talents:
- Food Pantry: Christ Sun of Justice parish supports the community food pantry at Our Lady of the Snows in Grafton NY. We could use your help to collect food and personal care items at the C+CC, and transport them to the parish in Grafton. 2-3 hours per month.
- Support for St. Joseph House: We help with their program to feed people in need in Troy. Usually we provide desserts. 2-3 hours per month.
- Chapel decoration: More hands make light work, especially when we’re changing over the chapel decoration for each liturgical season. Our chapel’s grey walls provide a neutral back-drop for textiles, plants, and creative lighting to enhance our worship. 3-4 hours, 4-5 times per year.
Other groups at the C+CC host their own service projects, including the Newman Catholic Fellowship, and the Knights of Columbus.
