The University Parish of Christ Sun of Justice (CSJ) was established by the Diocese of Albany in 1971 to provide pastoral care to the Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute community: its students, faculty, staff, alumni, and neighbors.
Unlike most geographically-defined parishes, CSJ has a specific mission to serve the campus community, a mission that we have pursued for almost 60 years. The parish provides the ecclesial matrix within which our campus ministry thrives. Our liturgical ministries, service opportunities, and faith formation programs are open to all.
